What We Do

The Expertise you need

We specialize in evaluating the economic potential and environmental sustainability of existing and emerging technologies, providing the bridge between conceptual design and large-scale integration with industry.

Our services are backed by a combination of technical expertise, rigorous peer review, and a modeling methodology based in the fundamental principles of mechanical engineering.

Our work follows the latest standards for Techno-Economic Analysis (TEA) and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and with our engineering-based approach we are able to meet a wide range of project requirements ranging from grant proposal development to private sector investment attraction.

Services

Life Cycle Analysis Icon

Life Cycle Assessment

We leverage foundational engineering process modeling coupled with life cycle assessment methodology to quantify the environmental impact of systems and products. All work is based on ISO14040 standards.

Techno-Economic Analysis Icon

Techno-Economic Analysis

Leveraging engineering process modeling coupled with economic assessment methodology, technologies are evaluated for economic viability. Work focuses on determining the internal rate of return or levelized costs. Results support strategic research and development areas.

Stakeholder Education Icon

Stakeholder Education

Navigating sustainability (carbon tax and foot print, economic viability) is challenging. Educating stakeholders is critical to not only achieving viable results but understanding the impact and potential of the work. Educational services include simple overview to detailed tutorials.
